Three spaces, sixteen lines, all doors closed.
Drums in the live room, guitar amp isolated in the closet, vocalist or DI in the control room. Track at the same time with no bleed. Non-parallel walls, custom wood paneling, curtains to move from tight to more live.
Line and speaker-level tie lines between every room: run your head at the desk with the cab isolated in the closet. Re-amping ready.

Named for four kids, one flight up.
I'm Kevin Harvey - engineer, producer, and bass player. I've been making and releasing records since the 2000s. The studio is the finished half of the basement, built properly rather than assembled out of foam, because I wanted a room I'd want to work in.
It's a house, so here's the awkward part: the only bathroom is upstairs, and you'll walk through the dining room to get to it. Everything else is better than you'd expect from a home studio.
